With the roots of her career anchored in campaigns, Samantha understands the significance of compelling storytelling, building effective coalitions, and implementing proven strategies to successfully advance issues and initiatives. Throughout her decade-plus of experience in Florida politics, most recently serving as the Director of Government Relations at the University of Florida, Samantha has earned the reputation of being a tireless advocate and connector. Earlier in her career, Samantha held senior leadership roles at the Personal Insurance Federation of Florida representing many of the state’s top insurers and Pace Center for Girls, Inc., contributing to its expanded footprint in Florida and into Georgia. Her understanding of complex issues like tort reform, education, and regulatory issues have substantially advanced organizations and initiatives focused on strengthening Florida’s future.

Channeling her passions for service and empowering women and girls, Samantha serves on the Junior League of Tampa’s Executive Board and has been a celebrated mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Big Bend, the Chair of the Junior Leagues of Florida State Public Affairs Committee, the President of the Junior League of Tallahassee, and a representative on several statewide and national committees. Furthermore, she was recognized as a Local Patriot by The Village Square- Tallahassee, one of the 25 Women You Need To Know by the Tallahassee Democrat, and a rising star by Florida Politics and INFLUENCE Magazine. Samantha graduated from the University of Florida with her B.A. and M.A. in Political Science, Minor in Business Administration, and Certificates in International Relations and Political Campaigning. She lives in Tampa with her husband, Taylor, and their son, Wellsley. They are active members of The Church at Channelside, a downtown Tampa church plant.
