Brian Ford III

Brian Ford joined Corcoran Partners in 2024 and is based in the firm’s Tampa office.
Before joining the firm, Brian served as Corporate Partnership & Events Manager for Special Olympics Florida which provides sports training and healthy athlete screenings to over 70,000 athletes statewide. In this capacity, Brian developed and nurtured strong relationships with CEOs and corporate sponsors throughout the state, having earlier been responsible for overseeing fundraising and events for the organization. Prior to joining the Special Olympics, Brian served as External Affairs Coordinator for Education Commissioner Richard Corcoran, where he worked closely with the top communications officials in the Department of Education, monitored the Governor’s press conferences and interfaced with his counterparts in the Governor’s office and other state agencies.
A native of Tampa, Brian holds a B.S. in Business Marketing with a Minor in Economics, as well as an M.S. in Sport Management, both from Florida State University. He is an avid fan of the FSU Seminoles and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where his father serves as Chief Operating Officer. Brian also serves as a youth member on the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice State Advisory Group which is composed of 21 individuals appointed by the Governor who are dedicated to the prevention of juvenile delinquency throughout the state of Florida.
